As an Information Security Officer (M/F/X) at Vinçotte, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's information technology. Your key activities for Vinçotte Belgium & Luxembourg:

• Develop and implement robust security protocols and procedures to protect Vinçotte’s technological systems and data assets.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats, taking prompt action to mitigate risks.
• Monitor and analyze security incidents, promptly investigating any breaches or suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures throughout Vinçotte’s IT systems and infrastructure.
• Serve as a SPOC for customers, suppliers, partners and the KIWA Group addressing questions or issues.
• Enhance effective ICT Security governance by leading the certification project ‘ISO27001’.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in cybersecurity, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Manage relationships with external security vendors and stay informed about emerging threats and solutions.
• Participate in incident response activities, including containment, investigation, and recovery.

Profiel

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/another related field or equivalent through experience.
• Languages: You are fluent Dutch in combination with a very good knowledge of the English language. If you can add French too, it's a very strong advantage!

• Experience & knowledge: You have a proven record as an Information Security Officer or in a similar role, with a focus on cybersecurity and risk management.
  • In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, CIS)? Check!
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption protocols, and secure coding practices? Check!
  • Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response? Check!
  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and SIEM solutions? Check!
  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., ECIH, CEH) are highly desirable.
