ICT Service Desk Engineer (M/F/X) (2024-3573)

Function

As ICT Service Desk Engineer (M/F/X), you are responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. The ICT Service Desk Engineer (M/F/X) will work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure that all support tickets are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

• You provide level 0 & level 1 hardware, software, and end-user support as required and in line with documented procedures and service level targets to support the business effectively. You operate within standardized practices and procedures, general work instructions and supervision of progress and results.
• You manage internal clients daily by carrying out procedural tasks & activities and support to others. You monitor and manage IT support tickets to ensure a timely and efficient resolution. You document all support tickets and resolutions in the company's ticketing system. You escalate issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
• You dispose of basic to seasoned knowledge of a broad area of IT systems and related processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
• You follow up on the onboarding of new employees, setting up accounts and ensuring that hardware is available. This also includes the follow up & correct administration of available stock items.
• You provide training and support to end-users on new technologies or applications.
• You maintain an up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and industry trends.

Profile

• Diploma: You have at least a secondary school diploma and have followed additional training within ICT (e.g. syntra, VDAB, ...)
• Experience: You have at least 1 year experience as an ICT Service Desk Employee.
• Languages: You spreak fluently Dutch & French with a good knowledge of English.
• Skills: calm at peak times setting the right priorities with determination, problem-solver at heart, solution focused, sense of quality, eye for detail & structure and customer focused.
